Mylan gets FDA nod for 150 mg strength of generic Adoxa

Mylan Laboratories Inc. (MYL.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said it received final approval from U.S. regulators for the 150 milligram dose of its generic version of Par Pharmaceutical Cos. Inc.'s (PRX.N: Quote, Profile, Research) antibiotic, marketed as Adoxa.

The product will be shipped immediately, the company said in a statement.

Mylan previously received approval and is marketing the 50 mg, 75 mg and 100 mg strengths of the tablets, generically known as doxycycline.
